Jambala is gods of wealth. He is also said to be a manifestation of Avalokitesvara Singe Dra working for the benefit of all sentient beings and is considered to be a protective deity of Buddha Shakyamuni, Vajrapani and Guru Padmasambava.
Jambala manifesting in a semi- wrathful appearance, is depicted sitting upon a moon disc atop a lotus seat with his right leg extended upon a conch. His saffron orange body is adorned with various precious ornaments and a garland of fresh flowers. Jambala is somewhat rotund, his prominent stomach round and protuberant. He holds a bias puraka fruit in his right hand and the gem- producing mongoose in his left as a symbol of unceasing wealth.
